Jared Kushner just published a new book of his memoirs while serving in the White House. He revealed that he had surgery for thyroid cancer, after a diagnosis in October 2019, but he didn’t tell his boss, Donald Trump.
Kushner told his wife, and a few people at work about the diagnosis, but news travels. He writes that he was surprised when Trump confronted him and asked if he was nervous about the upcoming surgery. Kushner asked him how he knew about it. Trump said, “‘I’m the president,’” according to the book. “I know everything.”
“Breaking History: A White House Memoir,” recounts what happened behind closed doors during the Trump presidency.
