Lions and tigers and bears… oh my!

Nope … alligator, drugs, guns, and money … oh my!

Police are still searching for the tiger.

During a raid of two homes in Albuquerque in August, police found an alligator, illegal drugs, firearms and lots of cash, but they were tipped off that a baby tiger was being kept as a pet there, and they are still looking for it.

The tiger was apparently removed from the home and it’s somewhere else. Officers at the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish think the tiger may have crossed the border.

Tigers grows to more than 600 pounds, so sooner or later, it will be found. Right now, the missing baby tiger, less than a year old, probably weighs less than 60 pounds. Better to be found sooner, rather than later.

The alligator that was found in the home raid was about three feet long. It was removed and taken to a wildlife facility after the raid.

The raid required a search warrant, because they were looking for the tiger, and got more than they bargained for.

The police also found a 26-year-old man at the home who was in possession of two pounds of heroin plus a lot of cocaine, 49 pounds of marijuana, 17 firearms, opioids and $42,000 in cash.

The man was arrested. Hopefully, he told police where the tiger is.
