Ben Affleck, a famous actor, producer, and director, claimed that while he was filming the Dunkin’ Donuts company’s Super Bowl commercial, he had to deal with some customers who weren’t too thrilled with his service.

Despite the fact that viewers adored the commercial, not all of his actual customers were impressed with his customer service abilities.

The actor disclosed that there are scripted and unscripted versions of the commercial, which shows him working at the Dunkin’ Donuts drive-through window in Medford, Massachusetts.

The actor claimed in an interview with the Wall Street Journal that in certain unscripted scenes, clients were becoming rather irate with his customer service—or lack thereof.

Affleck, who has a reputation for being short-tempered, appeared to accept his fate when he told the Wall Street Journal that it was Boston after all. He also said that he encountered some people who were “coarse and agitated” and very willing to express their displeasure with him in what he called a “colorful way.”

Affleck stated that he was impressed with and loved the way the unscripted versions turned out.

Dunkin’ Donuts uploaded some cleaner versions of the customer ranting at Affleck in a “colorful way” on their YouTube account even though the videos of those incidents have not yet been made public.

Customers are perplexed in the YouTube video, but as soon as they discover that it’s Affleck working hard to take their orders from behind the window, their expressions brighten.

Affleck informs a customer that running the machine is more difficult than it appears, speaking with a heavier Boston accent than usual. Also, he makes an attempt to mess with another customer by informing him that they had run out of donuts and coffee and only had water.

The actor makes fun of himself at the end of the video, claiming that he is not your regular Dunkin’ Donuts employee and that most staff are much smarter than he is.

It is commonly known that Affleck loves Dunkin’ Donuts and he is frequently photographed carrying coffee and donuts from the business.

The outlet claims that Dunkin’ Donuts approached Affleck and asked him to appear in one of their commercials. They originally wanted him to film the advertisement in a boardroom, but he had the bright idea to shoot it in a drive-through instead.

The ad was also directed by Affleck.

Jennifer Lopez, Affleck’s wife, made an appearance in the commercial, which aired on Sunday night during the Super Bowl.
