David “Red” Worrall, a Republican candidate running for an at-large seat on the town council in Clarksville, Indiana, died on Election Day, Tuesday, November 7, 2023, after collapsing at a polling station.
Worrall, 59, who had previously served a term on the town council, was greeting voters outside the Renaissance Academy polling station when he suddenly collapsed.
