No stranger to strange fashion, Brad Pitt, clad in a teal knit top with a lime green linen jacket and baggy pants, walked the red carpet at the premiere for his new film, Bullet Train, in Los Angeles.
The 58-year-old actor looked confident and cheerful at the premiere, held at the Regency Village Theater on Monday.
He posed for photographers with a co-star, Logan Lerman, and his manager, Cynthia Pett-Dante.
The actor told an Entertainment Tonight reporter that he was just trying to have some fun with his fashion while promoting the action comedy film
Pitt has spent the last few weeks traveling around the globe promoting international premieres of the new film. He was in London, Paris and Berlin in mid-July. In Paris, he wore a look similar to the lime green LA one, but in a peach color.
In Berlin, he made news with his outfit, with included a linen skirt. When asked by an Associated Press reporter about his choice of wearing a skirt, Pitt replied with a smile, “The breeze, the breeze.”
The film, Bullet Train, is based on a 2010 novel, Maria Beetle, by Kōtarō Isaka. Pitt stars as an assassin who wants to quit the business, but is pushed into another job by his handler, played by Sandra Bullock.
The film features Pitt, Joey King, and Sandra Bullock, among others.
Bullet Train will speed into theaters August 5.
