Weddings are meant to be a private time for loving couples to share their joy with their family and friends. However, this is often not the case with celebrities, who are constantly exposed to paparazzi, and in this instance, to wedding attendees looking to make a buck.
Jennifer Lopez slammed a wedding guest who she says took advantage of her presence at the ceremony, and sold a video to TMZ. The video shows Jennifer serenading her new husband, Ben Affleck, at their wedding celebration in Savannah, Georgia.
Jennifer Lopez wrote on Instagram, “The video was taken without permission and that whoever did it took advantage of a private moment. I do not know where you are all getting it because we had NDAs and asked everyone not to share anything from our wedding.”
Lopez said that it is the couple’s choice when, and if, to share, and that anything posted on the OnTheJLO fan site is private and meant to be shared with her fans, which they will do when they are ready. She added, “This was stolen without our consent and sold for money. Thank you for caring. I love you guys.”
The video that was sold to TMZ features Jennifer singing to Ben, seated across from her. She holds out the microphone, as if she’s in concert, and signals for the audience to join her in the song, which went, “Can’t get enough. All night / I can feel the passion / in your eyes / I’m still in love with you.” She even has backup dancers around her!
The couple held their wedding party in Savannah, Georgia, a month after a small Las Vegas ceremony. They tied the knot months after their engagement, in April 2022, when they obtained a marriage license in Clark County, Nevada. A person close to the couple said, “It was super, super small. They just wanted to be married, so they got married.”
The lavish wedding celebration was attended by over 100 guests and was held on Affleck’s 87-acre Hampton Island Preserve in Georgia. The ceremony was conducted on a lawn under a canopy of white flowers and the courtyard was strewn with thousands of candles. All the guests wore white. A Southern-style family dinner followed.
Ben Affleck watched his new wife adoringly, as she sang to him, “can’t get enough.”
The public “can’t get enough” of the new couple and are adoring the TMZ video.
