On October 16, famous Brazilian dentist and TikToker, Raquel da Silva Moura Medeiros, went missing. When the 41-year-old dentist failed to come home, concerned family members immediately reported it to the authorities.
Two days later, Medeiros’ body was found dead inside her car, a white Chevrolet Onix, after driving off a cliff near the BR-364 motorway in Ariquemes, Rondonia. Police said that there is no hint of foul play in the incident.
According to reports, Medeiros left Ji-Parana on October 16 at around 10 pm.
Security footage last showed her in Jaru, on her way to Ariquemes, 20 minutes after she left Ji-Parana.
After her family reported her disappearance to the police and posted a notice on social media, a major search effort was launched. The authorities tried to backtrack her route in an attempt to find her.
With the help of a helicopter, Medeiros’ car was finally found. It took two days to locate her vehicle, which had landed on a plant-covered area.
Medeiros was a dentist who specialized in orthodontics and hospital dentistry. She liked to post about her practice on TikTok. She was also a known influencer who shared her travels, friends and family, as well as her gym activities. Colleagues were sad about the loss.
