A group of more than 20 determined shoplifters took over a Walmart in Tennessee on Sunday, November 20 and got away with many expensive items, including electronics.

The Memphis Police Department released surveillance footage of the robbery, which shows several people pulling into the Walmart parking lot located on Elvis Presley Boulevard at around 8:50 pm local time.

According to authorities, the armed shoplifters threw a four-way tire iron through a glass window, giving them access to the store.

The video, which police released on Tuesday, November 22, shows the group of people entering the store. Close to two dozen people are then seen leaving with their hands full of merchandise.

Luckily, the store was closed, so no customers or staff were hurt during the incident.

Police records show that the 22 shoplifters got away with expensive electronics, including two black panther scooters, several speakers, two flat-screen TVs, car batteries, and shop vacuums.

Investigators said that after calculating the stolen items’ costs, the estimated total worth came to around $7,715.

Shoplifters set off the alarm, but their burglary mission proved successful. Over 12 police officers responded to the crime scene, but the suspects were long gone by the time they got there.

The police told reporters that the suspects left the Walmart through the same broken window they used to access the store.

According to the police, another surveillance footage showed the criminals arriving at the scene in more than 20 vehicles.

Walmart released a statement through their Media Relations Officer, Stephanie Sharp. The store expressed that they were troubled by the Sunday evening incident but were glad that no associates or customers got injured. The statement continued to say that the store would work closely with law enforcement to investigate the incident.

Investigators from the Memphis Police Department are still investigating the theft and are yet to make any arrests.
