The former NFL player and coach died on the first day of the year at the age of 77. He was a running back for the Dallas Cowboys from 1965 to 1972 and played in nine Super Bowls. He later became a coach and retired in 2003.
Maxi Jazz

Maxi Jazz, a DJ and the lead singer of the electronic-dance group Faithless, died peacefully in his sleep. He formed Faithless with members Rollo Armstrong, Sister Bliss, and Jamie Cotto in 1995.
Dino Danelli

The drummer for the famous rock band The Rascals, died on December 15. He was 78. He formed the group, initially called The Young Rascals, in 1964. Their most famous hits were “Good Loving” and “How Can I Be Sure?”
Sonya Eddy

The actress was known for her leading role on the soap opera, “General Hospital.” She passed away at the young age of 55.
Stephen “tWitch” Boss

The DJ and co-producer of the “Ellen DeGeneres Show” committed suicide on December 13. He became known on the show “So You Think You Can Dance” in 2008. He was found dead in his Los Angeles hotel room of a gunshot wound. He left behind a wife and three children.

Ronnie Turner was the son of pop singer Tina Turner. He passed away from health issues at the age of 62 and is survived by his wife.

Kirstie Alley died at the age of 71 after a battle with cancer. She is famous for her role as Rebecca Howe in the NBC sitcom “Cheers” from 1987 to 1993, as well as several popular films and TV shows. She had two children.

Christine McVie was a lead singer in the rock band Fleetwood Mac. She died at the age of 79 after a short illness.

Actress Irene Cara died at 63, from unknown causes. She is best known for her role in the 1980 film, “Fame” and won an Oscar for the song “Flashdance… What a feeling” that was featured in the movie “Flashdance.”

Aaron Carter died in his home in Palmdale, California at age 34, after being found unresponsive in his bathtub. He was a member of the Backstreet Boys, a popular singing group in the late 1990s.

Queen Elizabeth II passed away on Sept. 8, 2022. She was 96. She died peacefully at Balmoral Castle in Scotland. She reigned for almost 71 years and was the longest-running monarch in British history.

Actress Robyn Griggs was known for her roles in the soap operas “Another World” and “One Life To Live.” She died of cervical cancer that was diagnosed in 2020. She was 49.

Anne Heche died from her injuries after a car crash in Los Angeles. She was 53. Her car crashed into an LA home while she was driving at a very high speed and became a fireball. She was in a coma after the crash and was declared brain dead. She is survived by two sons.
