Police responded to a United Airlines flight having trouble with a disruptive passenger, arriving at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport from San Francisco last month.
Three travelers had to be transported to the hospital when the plane landed.
United Airlines gave a statement, saying that a passenger had to be removed by the police from the plane and that one of the flight crew members was treated in the hospital. There were no serious injuries.
An altercation between a woman carrying a young child and a flight attendant was recorded by a passenger on United Airlines flight 476. In the video the passenger can be seen screaming at the flight attendants and the woman yelling, “I will kill you.” The video was posted on TikTok and went viral.
The publisher of the video said that he witnessed the woman earlier yelling, “Jesus Christ our savior is going to save us.” Later, before the plane landed, the woman left her seat, carrying her child, and was told by the flight attendant to sit down as the plane was getting ready to hit the ground. The woman resisted and the argument started.
“We’re grateful to our crew for handling this difficult situation with professionalism and for putting the safety of our team and our customers first,” United Airlines said in the statement.
