Fans of actor Kevin Bacon are praising his 30-year-old daughter, “Smile” actress Sosie Bacon, for her performance in his Super Bowl commercial.

The famous father and daughter starred in an advertisement for the automobile manufacturer Hyundai. In a minute-long commercial, the “Footloose” actor picks up his daughter in Hyundai’s new electric car, the IONIQ 6.

Sosie, like many children, was giving her father a difficult time as he drove her around during the day.

In the advertisement, Sosie pokes fun at her father’s tech abilities by stating that he has “gone EV,” a reference to the automaker’s line of electric vehicles. She makes fun of her Golden Globe-winning father, asking how a man who is often locked out of his email accounts is all of a sudden into EV.

The minute-long advertisement depicts the two engaging in a variety of activities, including charging the automobile and purchasing coffee from a nearby cafe.

Sosie ultimately grows weary of her father, who cannot stop raving about the IONIQ 6’s incredible qualities, as she subtly indicates.

The commercial’s actor, Kevin Bacon, performed admirably, but fans could not help but point out that his daughter’s acting talents stole the show.

The commercial was uploaded to YouTube, and one user wrote that Sosie’s charm and attractiveness took the spotlight, adding that the ad may be his new favorite commercial.

Another fan commented on Sosie’s Instagram that she loved the campaign and Sosie’s facial expressions and that her father seemed like a fun but embarrassing kind of dad.

Although this was their first commercial collaboration, they routinely worked together on TikTok videos posted to Bacon’s account.
