A 15-year-old boy from Boston died after a skiing accident at a ski resort in New Hampshire on Saturday night, April 1.

DiPrima was skiing with his family, including Steven Gingras, his cousin, at around 6:35 pm when he hit a bump and landed badly. Resort representatives and his cousin said that first responders transported the teen to Concord Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

National Ski Areas Association recommends skiers and snowboarders stay in control and be aware of their surroundings. It also advises them to avoid skiing or snowboarding alone, wear proper protective gear such as helmets and stay within their ability level, and always follow a list of safety guidelines for skiers and snowboarders.
