Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston, aren’t friends from the TV show “Friends,” but they have been real friends for a long time. They recently talked about their friendship and how great it is to be working together again.

The two co-star in the new Netflix sequel, Murder Mystery 2, which premiered on Tuesday, March 28. While at the premiere, Aniston gushed about how easy and joyous it was working with Sandler because they know each other so well.

Sandler also spoke very highly about his friend and co-star.

Aniston, 54, said there is a lot of trust between them, and that’s why it is easy working with each other because they know they will have a great time and have each other’s backs. 

Aniston attended the premiere at the Regency Village Theatre in LA dressed in a sheer silver mini-dress.

Talking about her pal, Aniston said that Sandler has been exactly who he is since she met him.

Sandler, not missing the opportunity to also praise Aniston, shared his first impression of the romantic comedy star.

Sandler, 56, remembered when they first met decades ago, saying that they had breakfast together and he thought Aniston was very funny. Then in the few other times he saw her after that, she always made him happy, and their friendship grew.

Sandler showed up to Tuesday’s premiere dressed informally, in a Knicks hoodie.

The two co-starred in Murder Mystery in 2019 before currently reuniting for Murder Mystery 2, which is the third movie the pair worked on together. Their first film was the popular hit in 2011, Just Go with It.

Aniston summed it up with her statement, “We were friends before Friends. [We love each other]. We must have been real family in another life.”
