Prince Harry could be welcomed back into the royal family, but without his wife Meghan Markle, according to royal expert Jennie Bond.
Bond believes that despite the ongoing royal dispute, should Harry opt to return to the UK, his family would likely forgive and embrace him once more. Nevertheless, Bond concedes that this scenario currently seems improbable. She asserts there’s enduring goodwill towards Harry, reminiscent of his earlier days, and in due time, he could potentially recover his standing and be welcomed back. Bond, however, doesn’t anticipate such a reunion happening in the near future.
Bond’s viewpoint is in line with Paul Burrell, who previously served as Princess Diana’s butler. Burrell says that the British populace would warmly welcome Harry, should he decide to return. According to Burrell, upon Harry’s return, his father, now the King, along with his brother, would receive him enthusiastically.
Similarly, Grant Harrold, who served as butler to King Charles, thinks that it’s feasible for Harry and Meghan to return to the UK at some point. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, having exited official royal duties in 2020, relocated to California, making only a handful of visits back to the UK since their departure.
