A 25-year-old man has been indicted for allegedly killing his 26-year-old pregnant neighbor in Hamilton County, Ohio.
On July 6, Isis Roseman and her younger brother were using laser pointers outside their home when Tyrone Hunter approached, leading to a disagreement over the lasers. Hunter allegedly made threats against Roseman’s residence and left the scene.
However, Hunter later returned, firing shots at the residence. Despite the family’s attempt to take refuge inside, Roseman was hit by a bullet that went through her window and she died from her injuries. Post-mortem examinations revealed that Roseman was approximately four months pregnant.
A grand jury has since indicted Hunter on several counts, including murder, assault, and firing into a dwelling. Records indicate that Hunter was out on bond for unrelated charges at the time of the incident.
County Prosecutor Melissa Powers expressed concerns over the bond system, highlighting the need for ensuring community safety.
On July 24, following the issuance of an arrest warrant, Hunter turned himself in and is currently held on a bond of $1 million.
