A pregnant mother and her two children were found dead in a camper at the Inman Motocross track in Kansas on Saturday, September 16.
The McPherson County Sheriff’s Department reported that deputies responded to a call about three people in a camper.
Upon arrival, the Inman Fire Department and McPherson emergency medical services confirmed the deaths of the three people.
The deceased have been identified as Felecia Richey and her two children, Tysin and Bentley. Jason Richey, Felecia’s husband and the father of Tysin and Bentley, has verified the identities of the victims. Jason, a professional motocross driver, is now left to care for his remaining three-year-old son.
The ongoing investigation is being carried out to determine the exact cause of their deaths.
Though an official statement on the cause of death has not been made, a note on one of the online fundraisers attributes the deaths to carbon monoxide poisoning.
