On October 18, 2023 a moment of unexpected spontaneity transformed a typical episode of “The Drew Barrymore Show.” Well-known actress and talk show host Drew Barrymore,  surprised her audience and guest, Julia Fox, when she suddenly exited the stage.

Barrymore, a well-established figure in the film and television industry, started off the show by expressing admiration towards Fox’s unique fashion aesthetics. Fox, notable for her daring and avant-garde attire, has gained a distinct space for herself within the fashion landscape. Barrymore extended her words into action with the request, “Can you make me into you?” setting the tone for what was to follow.

At this point, the episode veered in an unexpected tangent. Barrymore, to the bewilderment of Fox and the viewers, suddenly raced off the stage. Fox, while neatly handling the unexpected turn of events, broke the tension with humor, joking about how she was “taking over” the proceedings.

This surprise was short-lived though, as Barrymore returned to the set after a commercial break. Yet, the surprise was far from over, because Barrymore returned in a completely different attire. Her outfit, evidently inspired by Fox’s previous appearances, included a gray skirt, a deconstructed denim top, thigh-high boots by Marc Jacobs, a massive chain necklace, and a spiked belt, showcasing a more audacious side to the famed actress. 

Fox also had a surprise up her sleeve. She revealed her “Drewlia” energy as she donned a Barrymore-inspired oversized tweed suit.
