In Scotts Valley, Santa Cruz County, California, a domestic dispute turned tragic when a five-year-old boy fatally stabbed his twin brother. The incident occurred on the afternoon of Wednesday, November 15, 2023, in a rural area of the county.
The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies responded to an emergency call about a stabbing at a residence on Tucker Road. Upon arrival, they discovered that the two brothers had been fighting. During the altercation, one of the twins grabbed a small kitchen knife and inflicted a stab wound on his brother.
First responders immediately administered medical care to the injured child, who was transported to a local hospital. Despite extensive efforts to save his life, the boy succumbed to his injuries.
Following the incident, the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office conducted a comprehensive investigation. Their findings revealed no evidence of neglect or criminal behavior. Accordingly, no charges are being filed in this case.
