Cameron Diaz, a notable figure in the Hollywood industry, recently spoke out to address rumors circulating about her and Jamie Foxx during the production of their new Netflix movie, “Back in Action.”
Diaz, who has previously worked with Foxx in “Any Given Sunday” (1999) and “Annie” (2014), dismissed claims of any disputes between them on set, stating there were no negative incidents.
During a recent appearance on the “Lipstick on the Rim” podcast hosted by Molly Sims, aired on Tuesday, December 19, Diaz openly discussed the situation. She praised Foxx, highlighting his positive impact and enjoyable presence on set. “Jamie is the best. I love that guy so much. He’s such a special person, he’s so talented, so much fun,” Diaz remarked. She noted that any challenges faced during production were typical for a movie set and did not cause significant disruptions, apart from a delay towards the end of shooting due to Foxx’s medical emergency.
Diaz, 51, chose not to divulge details about Foxx’s medical issue but confirmed that he is now in good health. She reflected on the attempts to discredit Foxx, 56, praising his professionalism and approach to the rumors. Diaz expressed her displeasure with the efforts to belittle her co-star.
The movie “Back in Action” marks a significant return for Diaz to acting after a break following her 2014 film “Annie.” Scheduled for release in 2024, the film has generated considerable interest, particularly for Diaz’s comeback and her collaboration with Foxx.
The action comedy, filmed mainly in London and Atlanta, is anticipated to be a prominent addition to the filmographies of both Diaz and Foxx, showcasing their on-screen chemistry and camaraderie.
