A 35-year-old mother of two plummeted from the 36th floor of The Brittany, a high-end apartment complex on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, New York City. The incident happened on Thursday, December 14, 2023.

Sources from law enforcement reported that Alina Page engaged in a heated discussion with her husband, Brian Page, right before she fell. The dispute was apparently about her alcohol consumption. Brian Page, a medical professional in orthopedics, said he was not at the location during the incident and did not elaborate on their argument.

In his remarks to The Post, Brian Page shared his deep sorrow, describing his wife as “the love of my life, my soulmate,” and expressing his profound loss. Their 16th wedding anniversary was approaching, just 11 days away from the day of the incident.

Found at the corner of York Avenue and East 92nd Street around 6:45 p.m., Alina Page suffered injuries consistent with a fall from a great height. She was urgently transported to New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, where she ultimately passed away due to her injuries.

The Brittany, where the Pages resided, is noted for its safety features, including a roof railing at least four feet high and windows with child safety designs that limit full opening. It also boasts impressive views of the East and Harlem Rivers and is a few blocks from Gracie Mansion.

Having moved from Temple, Texas to New York City in 2021, the Pages seemed to have a happy life. Alina Page, a native of Russia, frequently shared photos on Facebook, highlighting joyful moments with her children.

The New York Police Department is investigating the case and has not declared it a suicide.
