On the morning of February 8, 2024, three men were discovered dead in the basement of a home on Putnam Avenue near Seneca Avenue in Queens, New York City.
The brother of one of the deceased dialed 911 shortly before 7 a.m., prompting the New York City Police Department (NYPD) to start an investigation into the fatalities.
The deceased group consisted of a 39-year-old man, a 38-year-old, and one other man whose age is unknown. Their identities are currently withheld pending notification of their families.
Upon arrival, the first responders found the trio unconscious and unresponsive in the basement of the building. The emergency medical services pronounced them dead at the scene.
