This role allowed Hale to work alongside industry legends Dustin Hoffman and Robert Redford. Throughout his career, Hale earned a reputation as a versatile actor capable of tackling both heroic and villainous roles with equal skill.

Hale also contributed to the theatrical arts. He frequently performed in productions at the Trustus Theatre in Columbia, South Carolina, a venue co-founded by his brother, Jim Thigpen. He took immense pride in supporting his brother’s theater and appeared in various productions.

Throughout his career, Hale’s work has received several accolades, including two Daytime Emmy nominations for his role as Dr. Coleridge. His on-screen chemistry with co-stars and his dedication to his craft left an indelible mark on those who worked with him.
