The police have confirmed the recovery of the body belonging to Trentin Isaac, a 16-year-old from Mansfield, Ohio, in Harrison County, around two hours from his last known location.
Isaac went missing on November 12 and his body was found in Harrison County by the Harrison County game warden who was out feeding deer, on November 15, according to the Mansfield Police Department and Isaac’s mother, Amanda Craft. He was found at about a two-hour drive (approximately 100 miles) from where he was last seen. Due to the “suspicious circumstances” surrounding his death, his remains were sent to the Cuyahoga County coroner’s office for further examination.
Jason Bammann, the Mansfield Police Chief, declared that the investigation is still ongoing with the collaboration of state and local agencies. “We have more questions than answers at this point,” Bammann admitted.
While numerous unverified tips related to videos and social media posts allegedly linked to Isaac’s disappearance have been received, the police have not yet found any substantial evidence in these claims.
The Mansfield Police Department beseeches the public to avoid independent investigations and instead, transfer any pertinent information straight to law enforcement.
A GoFundMe campaign has been initiated for the benefit of Isaac’s family, describing him as dearly loved by his parents, siblings, and extended family, along with numerous friends and loved ones.
No information about potential suspects or persons of interest was disclosed by the Mansfield police, although they did suggest that multiple individuals might be involved. They assure that they are committed to “bring justice to the individuals who committed this act.”
The Mansfield Police Department urges anyone with information, including potential videos, photographs, or social media content related to Isaac’s disappearance, to contact Detective Ronee Swisher at 419-755-9432.
