Stallone has received numerous accolades throughout his career, including a Golden Globe Award and multiple Academy Award nominations, highlighting his significant contributions to the film industry.
During his speech, the popular actor, 78, referenced the opening scene of his 1976 film Rocky, where the camera pans from a mural of Jesus to Rocky Balboa in a boxing ring, highlighting the word “Resurrection” in the background. This man is gonna go through a metamorphosis and change lives.”
Stallone likened Trump’s recent campaign to the American Revolution, drawing a comparison to the country’s first president. He noted that, like George Washington, who unknowingly shaped the world by defending his country, Trump represents a modern parallel, suggesting that the nation now has a “second George Washington.”
The event was attended by notable figures, including Tulsi Gabbard, R.F.K. Jr and his wife, actress Cheryl Hines, Tucker Carlson, Elon Musk, Donald Trump Jr., and Kimberly Guilfoyle. During the gala, Trump announced his intention to nominate North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum as Secretary of the Interior.

The gala celebrated Trump’s election victory and featured speeches from various supporters. Stallone’s remarks drew significant attention, highlighting the actor’s admiration for the president-elect.
