Multiple sources have disclosed that Jennifer Lopez is reportedly displeased over recent images depicting her ex-husband, Ben Affleck, and his former wife, Jennifer Garner, appearing close during family events.

Insiders state that the “On The Floor” singer, who concluded her divorce from Affleck on February 20, 2025, just weeks before the photos surfaced, is “not happy with constantly seeing photos” of the former couple together. One source described the situation as “salt in the wound,” explaining that it is “completely messing with her head.” 

People close to Lopez claim she feels “betrayed” after observing images of Affleck and Garner together.

Media reports indicate that Lopez “can’t help being in her feelings” over Affleck and Garner’s friendship. According to those close to her, Lopez was “shocked” when she saw photos of the former couple together at their son’s birthday party. 

The recent situation started when Affleck, 52, and Garner, 52, were photographed with their son at a paintball outing in Los Angeles, California. Images showed the former spouses laughing, looking flirtatious, and embracing, generating headlines and speculation about their relationship status. 

Some suggest that Lopez struggles with the photos, while others believe she’s too focused on her upcoming Netflix project, “Office Romance,” even to notice the media coverage. Those closest to her indicate she’s been channeling all her energy into her work, her personal growth, and finding happiness.

At the same time, Lopez is aware of the time Ben has spent with Jennifer Garner. She knows they’ve always been close but might not have realized just how strong their connection still is. Now, she’s questioning whether their bond had any impact on her relationship with Ben and if there’s a chance he wasn’t wholly committed while they were together.

Affleck and Garner, who acted together in the 2003 movie “Daredevil,” were married from 2005 until they split in 2015, finalizing their divorce in 2018. They share three children: Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 13.

Despite their split, Affleck and Garner have maintained an amicable relationship. While Affleck generally enjoys spending time with Garner for co-parenting purposes, he has seemed “extra giddy lately” and “much more affectionate.” Garner doesn’t seem to mind and appears to enjoy spending time with him.

Garner has been dating businessman John Miller since 2018, a relationship that has continued through increased interaction with Affleck.

Despite the rumors, there is reportedly no romantic rekindling between Affleck and Garner. They are described as “good friends,” and speculation about them getting back together is “ridiculous.” Affleck’s priorities since his divorce from Lopez have been focused on his family and career, not dating. Affleck and Garner have a “mutual understanding that their kids come first,” and Affleck has “confided in Jen in many ways” during his relationship troubles with Lopez.

Affleck and Lopez were engaged in the early 2000s before separating, rekindled their romance in 2021, and married in July 2022.
