Seven people, including juveniles, were injured during a mass shooting at Kate Campbell Park in Jackson, Tennessee on Saturday evening, May 24, according to the Jackson Police Department.
Officers responded to the shooting at the park, located at 2700 North Parkway East, at approximately 8:41 p.m. after receiving reports of gunfire involving minors. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered multiple victims with gunshot wounds scattered throughout the recreational area.
One victim was in critical condition but is now stable at a local hospital, while the other six victims received medical treatment and have since been released from area healthcare facilities.
