#2: Sniper Game Paused:
The ICON Park, an Orlando amusement park, has stopped a new laser shooting game after being criticized for the game being inappropriate following a wave of mass shootings in the country. The Bullseye Blast game is available to riders of a 400-foot Wheel who pay an extra fee to shoot laser blasters at targets on the rooftops of buildings at the amusement park. The park’s website says, “To get the highest score possible, players need to hit as many of these [targets] as possible with their laser blaster during the 18-minute ride.”
Park officials said that the game was popular among its customers, but they were getting bad press and decided to stop it, for now.
