At a recent fundraising polo match, Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, seemed to be less in the limelight than usual, as noted by royal analyst Judi James.
Harry, 38, was in Japan and Singapore for the Sentebale ISPS Handa Polo Cup, a fundraising event for his co-founded charity, Sentebale, which supports children and young people in southern Africa. During this time, his wife Meghan Markle and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, remained in California.
James, who specializes in royal commentary and body language interpretation, remarked to the Express about the prince’s subdued presence at the event. She suggested that Harry might not naturally command attention in such scenarios.
Images from the event showed Prince Harry walking by himself after the match. James commented on his seemingly “awkward” appearance, noting that he’s typically more central at such gatherings.
In Tokyo, Prince Harry spent time with his friend and polo champion, Ignacio “Nacho” Figueras. The duo was seen shopping, reportedly for their wives.
