Bombshell: Trump Explodes at Entire Administration

President Donald Trump is growing increasingly frustrated with his White House team and Republican allies in Congress after suffering a series of legislative setbacks on June 11, 2026, according to a report that describes his inner circle as descending into “chaos.”

The 80-year-old president is “frustrated with everyone, from his own team to the Senate,” according to a senior MAGA source with connections to the administration who spoke to Politico’s Playbook. The frustrations stem from Republicans opposing his $1.776 billion “anti-Weaponization” fund, resistance to his White House ballroom security proposal, and the refusal by GOP congressional leadership to remove the Senate’s nonpartisan parliamentarian despite his insistence.

“He’s p—ed, and people are not recognizing the level of p—ed that he is,” the MAGA source told Politico. The source added that Trump “does not like being put in a box,” warning that “when you put him in a box, then Trump’s going to blow the box up.”

The president has encountered more obstacles in his second term than he anticipated. The Department of Justice canceled the $1.776 billion compensation fund after intense backlash from lawmakers on both sides of the aisle. The fund could have permitted the president’s supporters, including participants in the January 6 riot, to receive financial compensation through federal tax dollars. Senate Republicans were so angry about the proposal that lawmakers departed Washington for the Memorial Day recess without approving crucial immigration enforcement appropriations Trump requested, forcing Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche to scrap the compensation fund idea.

Senate Republicans also stripped plans to add an additional $1 billion for security related to the president’s planned White House ballroom in order to pass a broader $70 billion immigration and border enforcement bill. The parliamentarian, Elizabeth MacDonough, ruled that funding for ballroom security was ineligible for inclusion in the immigration enforcement measure according to Senate procedures.

In May 2026, Trump went on a tirade against Senate Majority Leader John Thune and demanded that MacDonough be fired after the Senate rulekeeper blocked the ballroom funding. However, Thune appeared to brush off the demand, leaving the parliamentarian in place.

The president is also struggling with the SAVE America Act, a measure establishing new federal election requirements such as voter identification mandates. He recently pushed Senate Republicans to attach the proposal to the defense appropriations measure, but Republicans have already expressed skepticism toward the idea.

The president, increasingly isolated within a minimally staffed West Wing, now relies heavily on a small group of close advisers, according to the Politico report. This inner circle includes controversial figure Bill Pulte, as well as personal attorney Boris Epshteyn and aide Natalie Harp.

Trump has pressed ahead with plans to install Pulte as acting director of national intelligence — set to formally begin the role on June 19 — despite fierce bipartisan resistance over his complete lack of national security experience. Trump met with House Speaker Mike Johnson on June 9 to discuss mounting congressional concerns about the appointment, but refused to back down, announcing the same day that Pulte would take over the post even earlier than originally planned. Trump has publicly directed Pulte to “execute the immediate and needed downsizing” of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. On June 11, Trump nominated Jay Clayton — the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York and a former SEC chairman — to permanently lead the agency, a role that would require Senate confirmation, with Pulte serving on an acting basis in the meantime.

The appointment has triggered serious collateral damage on Capitol Hill. Democrats blocked a short-term renewal of FISA Section 702 — a key foreign surveillance authority — over the Pulte dispute, and the program expired on June 12 for the first time since 2018. Senate Majority Leader John Thune broke with Trump on the matter, telling reporters: “We don’t need a weaponized DNI. We need professionals there.”

The White House has nonetheless stood by the pick. “Bill Pulte is a great selection, and he will do a phenomenal job,” spokesperson Davis Ingle told Politico, describing the president’s team as “world class.”

Harp has earned herself the nickname “Human Printer” because she carries a portable printer to produce printed copies of favorable social media commentary about Trump for his review.

“Knives are out in some capacity,” a White House ally told Politico. “I mean, people are stabbing people. Like, it’s chaos. The chaos is like creeping back.”

Trump is also reported to have lashed out at his White House inner circle after his endorsed candidate in the Iowa gubernatorial primary, Randy Feenstra, lost on June 2, 2026. “He’s really angry about this Iowa endorsement—like really, really angry,” a White House ally said. “He’s really angry that his consultants and people pushed him to do that.”

The frustrations come as the president faces mounting challenges beyond Capitol Hill. Americans have been more focused on clashes between immigration agents and the public than on allegations of fraud schemes, according to Trump’s own assessment. Rising inflation and escalating tensions with Iran have also complicated the administration’s messaging.

After an explosive first year and a half in office, when Trump saw his agenda implemented swiftly and aggressively, the president is now facing a series of setbacks largely attributed to congressional Republicans’ dwindling support for several of his initiatives. The combination of legislative defeats, primary election losses, and internal White House turmoil has created what allies describe as a return to the chaos that marked portions of his first term.
