Newlyweds Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Make Surprise Appearance

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce stepped out together for the first time as husband and wife at another couple’s wedding just one week after their own. The pair, both 36, turned up on July 10 at the marriage of Kelce’s former Kansas City Chiefs teammate JuJu Smith-Schuster, who exchanged vows with Laura Kruk at the Ritz-Carlton in Laguna Niguel, a coastal venue in Orange County, California.

The appearance came a week after Swift and Kelce’s own lavish ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York City on July 3, a reportedly $20-$25 million affair that drew more than 1,000 guests. Smith-Schuster and Kruk were among those on the guest list, making the couples’ back-to-back celebrations a study in reciprocal devotion.

Swift arrived in a strapless pink brocade gown from Markarian, priced at $4,115, and finished the look with her signature red lip and a pair of sunglasses. Kelce traded his usual game-day gear for a charcoal gray suit and large-frame shades. The two walked into the ceremony hand-in-hand, and photographs from the day captured them beaming, with Kelce leaning in to whisper something to his new wife as she rested a hand affectionately on his arm. Her wedding ring caught the light throughout the evening.

At Smith-Schuster’s celebration, Swift moved easily through the crowd, sipping a flute of champagne and greeting other guests with warm handshakes.

A Cross-Country Turnaround

Getting from one coast to the other in a single week required some logistical hustle. Smith-Schuster, now a wide receiver for the New York Giants, held his wedding on the West Coast, which meant the newlyweds had to travel across the country only days after their own Manhattan bash. In between, they carved out a stretch of downtime, spending a few relaxing days in Montana.

Inside the Couple’s Own Wedding

Swift and Kelce have not yet released official photos from their July 3 ceremony, but details have trickled out. Travis Kelce wore a white tuxedo at the wedding, breaking convention by matching the bride’s color. Both were dressed in Christian Dior Haute Couture, designed by Jonathan Anderson, who became the fashion house’s creative director in 2025. Anderson worked closely with the bride and groom on their looks, and the assignment marked his first time designing a couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity. Swift wore Cartier jewelry, and both she and Kelce stepped out in custom Christian Louboutin shoes.

Guests revealed new details about the ceremony, including that the couple’s vows ran approximately 20 minutes each, Swift read hers from a gold book, and the couple provided guests with custom-embroidered handkerchiefs. Recapping the night on his show, Pat McAfee said Swift joined Paul McCartney and Stevie Nicks on stage during performances. Patrick Mahomes was dancing despite recovering from torn ACL and LCL surgery in December.

The couple opted to skip a traditional wedding party. Instead, Swift’s brother, Austin Swift, served as her man of honor, while Kelce’s brother, Jason Kelce, stood as his best man. Presiding over the vows was Adam Sandler, a longtime Swiftie alongside his family and a previous guest on the “New Heights” podcast. Kelce, for his part, made a cameo in “Happy Gilmore 2,” a film Swift praised, giving it a “13/10” and calling it “an absolute must-watch.”

Guarded Details and a Leaked Invitation

The pair kept nearly everything about the July 3 event under wraps, including the venue itself. Even the guest invitations offered little beyond the essentials, confirming only that the celebration would take place July 3, in Manhattan, in the early evening, with guests expected in black-tie attire. The design featured a watercolor background of an orange sunset over a tree-filled meadow, with two Ts intertwined in white at the top.

A rare glimpse behind the curtain came courtesy of Ashish Ferguson, the brother of Kelce’s childhood friend and longtime private chef, Kumar Ferguson. Ashish posted an image of his invitation three days after the ceremony as part of a roundup of the night’s highlights. He soon deleted it, but the invitation had already circulated widely online.

The high-fashion approach at Swift and Kelce’s own wedding stood in contrast to the more accessible pieces worn by members of the bridal circle. Swift’s childhood best friend, Abigail Anderson Berard, and Kruk wore the same strapless corset-and-skirt gown from the Hong Kong-based label Sau Lee, which retails for $795, a coincidence that made the rounds among wedding-watchers.

The outing on July 10 offered the clearest public look yet at the couple in their new chapter. With their own celebration behind them and a friend’s wedding on the calendar, Swift and Kelce appeared entirely at ease, trading one white-veil occasion for another without missing a beat. As the newlyweds settle into married life, the back-to-back weddings suggested a pair happy to stay firmly in each other’s orbit, and in the spotlight.
